Joel Nix (Director/Producer/Editor)

Joel Nix is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker. Joel has substantial experience in physical production on shows like Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet and the FX show Baskets with Zach Galifianakis. Most recently, he's been working on the set of Lethal Weapon for FOX and working alongside Roland Emmerich on a variety of projects. He has previously directed music videos and commercials. Joel is interested in telling stories on a larger-scale that skew more mainstream in taste and which entertain and challenge audiences to live their lives for the better. He is a father to 1-year old Zeke and husband to Ali.

Alex Cubis (Actor/Writer/Producer)

Alex Cubis is an Australian actor based between Sydney and Los Angeles. His credits include the upcoming season of DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Netflix), RAKE (ABC/DirecTV), UNVERIFIED (Funny or Die), and the US feature film JUST WITHIN REACH co-starring Lenny Von Dohlen (TWIN PEAKS) and Estella Warren (PLANET OF THE APES). He also stars opposite Arka Das (LION, TOP OF THE LAKE) and Takaya Honda (Neighbours) in the upcoming short BOYZ, and lead Mike Gan’s NO EVIL which had its International Premiere, as part of Deep Night, at the Concorto International Film Festival in Pontenure, Piacenza, Italy as well as competing at the Palm Springs International Short Fest, among many others. Most recently, Alex played the leading role of Dom opposite Caroline Brazier and Bardiya McKinnon in the world premiere of THE INCREDIBLE HERE AND NOW for the National Theatre at Riverside Theatres directed by Wayne Harrison AM and Jeneffa Soldatic, and was a series regular in the Netflix Original MAKO MERMAIDS.
